Glowing through the empty halls
The echoing of distant footsteps
Carries through the paper thin walls
Doctor Monroe and the preacher
Were meeting in his office that night
The shallow cries from a young girl
As she's led into candlelight

It was a meeting with the devil, and his apprentice
She was drugged with a sedative, helpless to prevent this

The torture was repetitive, their sick and twisted bliss

They dragged her back to her room

The nurse walked around the corner

Just enough to make her die
There couldn't be any witnesses
To maintain their innocence
